Panthers fans are eagerly awaiting Bryce Young’s next step
The Carolina Panthers moral victory streak is in peril as they, in possession of the worst running defense in the league, are tasked with visiting the Philadelphia Eagles, the team with the best running back in the league.
Saquon Barkley already has 246 carries for 1,499 yards and 11 touchdowns through just 12 games. It feels possible that the Panthers could allow him to double those numbers if he isn’t resting on the bench by the second quarter.
All Panthers fans want to see is a remotely competitive game where Bryce Young looks confident and competent. Outside of that, I don’t think anybody has a lot of hope for this game. Still, with losses the last two weeks to the Kansas City Chiefs and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers by a combined six points, anything could happen.
