Panthers fans are eagerly awaiting Bryce Young’s next step
The Carolina Panthers are euthanizing their 2024 season during a quick trip to see their old friends, the Atlanta Falcons, today. It’s time. With six starters (Jaycee Horn, Robert Hunt, Josey Jewell, A’Shawn Robinson, Taylor Moton, and Xavier Legette) among the ten Panthers listed as either questionable or out and absolutely nothing to play for, the Panthers should be expected to rest all of these guys for next season.
That makes today’s scrimmage against the still-tilting-at-the-divisional-title-windmill Falcons little more than a preseason game for the Panthers that they will be playing against a bunch of very obviously motivated bullies. In short, we’ll probably get some vintage big time throws from quarterback Bryce Young to Adam Thielen 20 to 30 yards down the field and not much else. That’s if Young can keep his feet under him without the right half of his offensive line.
