It’s officially game week in the NFL, as for the 3rd time in franchise history, the Carolina Panthers start the season against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Rick Ballou of 1010 XL in Jacksonville joined Kyle Bailey as he gave us a view into the expectations for the Jacksonville Jaguars heading into the 2025 season.
One of the big storylines when talking about the Jags involves former number 1 overall pick Trevor Lawrence heading into his 5th year, as Rick told Kyle that the fanbase has lost confidence in the former Clemson star to the point of no middle ground, but it if it were to work out, Rick pointed out it has to happen now with an overhaul of the offense, along with new HC Liam Coen coming off a strong season as OC of the Buccaneers.
Rick would also go on to discuss the expectations for Travis Hunter, and how Jacksonville’s defense is in a somewhat similar spot to Carolina’s as the season begins.
