For the first time since 2017, the PGA Championship has returned to the Quail Hollow golf course to mark the 2nd Major Championship on the PGA calendar. Former WFNZ host turned PxP extraordinaire joined Kyle Bailey to preview the PGA’s return to Charlotte.
With this being the first major since Rory McIlroy’s emotional win at The Master’s along with his past success at Quail Hollow, Taylor thinks it is not a stretch at all to consider Rory a favorite to win this weekend, but he noted that with all the rain in the Charlotte area, it will favor guys that can drive it off the tee which includes Scottie Scheffler, Xander Schauffele, and Bryson DeChambeau along with Rory as major factors this weekend.
Taylor would go on to discuss some of the contention with media members and golfers having problems with Quail Hollow hosting a major championship, and Taylor discussed his new role as the radio voice of the Tennessee Titans.
