Tom Dundon: I Think The MLB Would Work In North Carolina

Another NHL season is about to get underway, and the Carolina Hurricanes look to be in the mix for the Stanley Cup yet again, but Owner Tom Dundon has made headlines for expressing interest in a different sport in baseball. The Canes Owner joined Kyle Bailey on WFNZ to expand upon his interest.

Tom started by telling Kyle that before he owned the Hurricanes he was actually trying to buy a baseball team, and he also thinks an MLB team can work in either Raleigh or Charlotte but noted that he is still very early in the process of getting this off the ground floor.

The Owner of the Canes would later go on to explain the process behind trying to get an expansion team, and what his expectations are for the Carolina Hurricanes entering the 2023-24 season.
