Charlotte FC in New York for win-or-go-home game in MLS Cup Playoffs

BRONX, N.Y. (AP) — Charlotte FC (19-13-2, fourth in the Eastern Conference during the regular season) vs. New York City FC (17-12-5, fifth in the Conference during the regular season)

The Bronx, New York; Saturday, 3:30 p.m. EDT

BETMGM SPORTSBOOK LINE: NYCFC -138, Charlotte FC +333; over/under is 2.5 goals

BOTTOM LINE: New York City FC hosts Charlotte FC in the Eastern Conference semifinals.

NYCFC is 16-8-3 in conference play. NYCFC is third in the Eastern Conference, allowing only 44 goals.

Charlotte is 15-11-1 against Eastern Conference opponents. Charlotte is fifth in the Eastern Conference, giving up just 46 goals.

The matchup Saturday is the fourth meeting this season between the two teams. NYCFC won the last game 1-0.

TOP PERFORMERS: Adrian Alonso Martinez Batista has scored 18 goals with two assists for NYCFC. Nicolas Ezequiel Fernandez Mercau has three goals over the last 10 games.

Idan Gorno has 11 goals and three assists for Charlotte. Wilfried Zaha has four goals over the past 10 games.

LAST 10 GAMES: NYCFC: 6-4-0, averaging 1.5 goals, 4.6 shots on goal and 5.7 corner kicks per game while allowing 1.4 goals per game.
